Hi everyone! I have been M.I.A for quite a long while but I have decided to start blogging again :)

Review: Rimmel London's 1000 Kisses Lip Tint

I was given the 1000 Kisses Lip tint by Rimmel London to do a review on and if you follow me on twitter I think that it's pretty obvious that I really like this product.
Since I was given two lip tints, I am going to giveaway one to a follower!

Now for a quick review:
*taken from Rimmel London's official website*
1000 Kisses Lip Tint gives your lips a royal flush of intense, vibrant colour that stays on duty and ready for action for hours - leaving no trace, so your kisses never tell.
The speedy two-step application delivers a fabulously flawless finish that is totally on trend and just begs to be kissed. A precision pen-tip delivers the mistake-free colour you're looking for and a caring balm seals the deal, giving lips the extra moisturizing they've been waiting for.
There are 6 must-have shades in a translucent colour-matched design that gives you the freedom of being able to re-invent your look every day.

So the colour that I tried out was Perpetual Plum and it is the lighter shade in the picture.
*the marker pen end*
 * lip balm end to seal in the goodness ;p*
* the one above is with the lip balm on top and the one below is without*
 *after a good rub*

PROS:
1) Long lasting: Normally I hardly wear lipsticks as they wear off once I drink water or eat but this lip tint stayed on for a few hours which was pretty impressive. It's pretty pigmented as well :)
2) Convenient: I like how it is in a marker pen form so I can easily apply it when I am in the car or when I am on the go. I really like to carry it in my handbag because it will not melt like a normal lipstick if it is under the sun
4) Affordable: Rimmel London's products are always reasonably priced and I think the lip balm is about rm28 which is super affordable

CONS:
1) Balm: the lip balm was alright as it made my lips shiny but it wasn't as moisturizing as I had hoped. I tend to use my own lip balm instead because I am afraid I would break off the lip balm as it cant be retracted.

Review: Elite fragrance (Paris Baby)

The fragrances Paris Baby, London Queen, New York Muse and Rio Glam Girl by Elite are dedicated to the world's greatest fashion capitals.

Paris Baby is described as a romantic and feminine sparkling floral scent that evokes Parisian chic. The fragrance opens intensively with notes of apple, freesia and Bellini accord. The heart includes fashionable and elegant bouquet of white flowers - osmanthus, jasmine and orange blossom. Musk, vanilla, patchouli and creamy sandalwood form the perfume’s base. “Spray on when you're feeling romantic and mischievous.”  Paris Baby ideally evokes the renowned Parisian chic, glam and style.
Perfumer: Vincent Schaller.
The fragrances are available as 50 ml Eau de Toilette and deodorant spray.

I have received Paris Baby to review and I might not be great at describing scents but I'll try my best. :)

My first impression was that it smells a lot like baby powder with a sweet vanilla scent which brought back many childhood memories. The lasting power is not fantastic but I was pleasantly surprised that it lasted around 3-4 hours. I also love the faint scent at the end of the day. The bottle is simple but I love simplicity so I'm happy with the design. I have not had a chance to test out the other scents so I am not able to make a comparison but I would say that this perfume is definitely a value for money purchase and I am satisfied with it.

ps: My Sally Hansen and Rimmel London giveaway is still open and it will end on the 1st of Oct. I will be adding another prize in Sept :)

ABOUT RICOH & THE PRINTERS
Ricoh is one of the world's leading suppliers of office automation equipment, including copiers, facsimile machines, data processing systems, and related supplies. Ricoh is also renowned for its state-of-the-art electronic devices and photographic equipment.

This is a post that I am super excited to write about. :D If you follow me on twitter @F_Expressions you might remember me mentioning about my part time job for RICOH before. Honestly I never knew RICOH existed until I worked for them and then I realized that ALL the printers in my university and dad's office are RICOH printers.
After getting to play around with their printers for about 4 days, I have to admit that they beat inkjet printers flat.

* RICOH booth:) *

I'm sure everyone has heard about RICOH by now since it's going crazy with their contests on Facebook (http://bit.ly/RicohMalaysiaFB )

There are three (3) models under this series,

SP 100 e

SP 100SU e

SP 100SF e

RICOH printers are really good because of the fact that they are laser printers. lol I learnt from my training that normal ink jet printers will tend to make smudges which really sucks when u are rushing to print out an assignment or an important document but laser printers will never ever smudge because the ink is in a powder form. The resolution is also much better and the speed is super duper fast. So you are gonna get quality + efficiency. This range of printers are perfect for students or households as the prices are reasonable and they are not bulky.

Review: Sally Hansen's Vitamin E Nail & Cuticle Oil

Vitamin E Nail & Cuticle Oil
* taken from the official Sally Hansen website*
Makes cuticles and nails look healthy instantly. 4000 IU's of Vitamin E in an essential oil complex helps prevent nail problems before they start. Helps keep cuticles supple and nails resilient.

Application Tips

Brush Vitamin E Nail & Cuticle Oil onto nails and cuticles nightly. Massage in to help increase circulation to the nail bed and stimulate new nail growth. Before applying nail color or a base coat, wash thoroughly with warm soapy water. Apply nail color or base coat to clean dry bare nails. Reapply after nail color is dry.

Benefits

Absorbs quickly into nails and cuticles to deeply hydrate
Reduces brittleness and breakage
Salon Tested - Dermatologist Tested

*bottle in real life*
*before application*
*after application*

PROS:
1) softening: my nails are super brittle and they tend to peel sometimes but I could definitely feel the difference the moment I applied the oil as they felt moisturized and soft
2) value for money: it only takes a tiny drop so one bottle will be able to last a very long time
3) absorbent: it absorbs really quickly and there isn't any oily feeling after applying

CONS:
1) brush: the brush is a little flimsy and a dropper would be a much better applicator

Event: Sally Hansen and Rimmel London grooming workshop

I'm back with another brand ambassador update!
Part of my contract requires me to attend a grooming workshop which was held on the 29th of May.
The office was super far away and I got super lost :(
but I really like the open concept that they have adopted.
First up was the workshop on Sally Hansen products
*product booklet*
*box full of treatment products*
*TONS of pretty nail polishes!!*
I swear I almost fainted after I saw all the products ;p
*demo on how to shape nails correctly*
Miss Julie who was the trainer suggested that I use the 2 products above because I have ridges on my nails so those products would help to fill up the spaces to give a smooth surface
*one of my favorite products!*
*first find a piece that fits your nail*
* then remove the plastic, stick it on and file off the excess*
* use an orange wood stick to adhere it to the nail*
*TADAA~!*
*This step is optional but applying a top coat helps the nail strips last longer*
* I find that this design helps make my skin look fairer :D*
*I still have another set~ should I do a giveaway?:) *
Then we had a short break and one of the ambassadors brought some cornflake snacks which were super yummy!
We jumped right into makeup after that with Rimmel London
*Found out I'm a no.103 for liquid foundation and no.200 for powder*
*I'm really loving the sexy curves mascara- do look forward to a review on it*

*some of the products which I had a chance to test out*

The session finished quite late so I hardly had time to pick out which products that I wanted. Haha I was literally grabbing stuff and scribbling down the product code. Thank god Miss Julie was such a great help by recommending which products to get.
Right now I have absolutely no idea what products I picked out to review so that will be a surprise ;p

Thank you StarAsia for the opportunity~!
